in February the fellowship, except the fallen Gandalf, were
in Lorien, there this scene occurred: Galadriel mentioned the old and beautiful places of the dwarfed town, and she smile to Gimli that was sad, he when being with its glance he think taht he were looking in the heart of an enemy, and find in it love and understanding. Gimli make a reverence saying: But more beautiful still it is the living country of Lórien, and Lady Galadriel is over all land jewels.

"Oscuras son las aguas del Kheled- zâram y frías son las fuentes del Kibil- nâla y
hermosas eran las salas de columnas de Khazad-dûm en los Días Antiguos antes que los
reyes poderosos cayeran bajo la piedra.
Galadriel miró a Gimli que estaba sentado y triste y le sonrió. Y el enano, al oír
aquellos nombres en su propia y antigua lengua, alzó los ojos y se encontró con los de
Galadriel y le pareció que miraba de pronto en el corazón de un enemigo y que allí
encontraba amor y comprensión. El asombro le subió a la cara y en seguida respondió
con una sonrisa.
Se incorporó torpemente y saludó con una reverencia al modo, de los Enanos
diciendo: -Pero más hermoso aún es el país viviente de Lórien, y la Dama Galadriel está
por encima de todas las joyas de la tierra."
